In a work setting, you find yourself in very interesting situations.
One that's probably the most uncomfortable is when you find yourself in an elevator with someone you just received an email from. That email caused you to get ticked off, or it's an email that requires an immediate response. You didn't immediately respond, because you got distracted. And here you are in the elevator. Together.
You say hi, and you smile. You let the sound of the elevator fill the silence.
Unless there's an absence of elevator music. Which there is.
And that's just awkward.
