Review of Revolve 2010.

Revolve 2010 revolutionizes the way young adult girls read the Bible. The book is formatted like a magazine, complete with quizzes, question and answer articles, and even "Goodbook" profiles of Biblical characters, set up to look like Facebook profiles. Revolve uses the New Century Version of the Bible and is extremely reader-friendly. The pages are numbered and columned, with boxed topics and side articles among the chapters. Quotable scriptures are enlarged and framed with quotation marks to provide easy comprehension. Another feature young girls will love is the sections which include thoughts from the opposite sex. From chastity to candid, personal challenges, girls will get a glimpse into how the male adolescent mind really works. Also included are several interviews from popular music artists and actors, such as American Idol winner Jordin Sparks and 'Hannah Montana' actress Emily Osment. Girls can laugh and relate to embarrassing stories in the 'Drama Trauma' section. This has just about every feature a mainstream magazine has--all the while promoting the gospel of the New Testament! I believe this is an excellent ministry tool to be given to nonbelievers as well to explore the Bible in a fresh and inspirational way. Likewise, it is an excellent gift for female adolescents who are new believers. Revolve has the appeal of a magazine, integrated with the power of the living Word.
